Interview
After the resume screening and online test, which took about 2 months, I was invited to join the panel interview.
On the session, there were 9 people having the interview together. There were 4 examiners, all ladies, 1 Japanese and 3 Singaporean. So the 9 interviewees were divided into 2 groups. Both groups were given the same question. Then we had 20 minutes for discussion and preparation.
For each group, 2 examiners were assigned to observe every group member's contribution and involvements. After 20 minutes, each group can choose 1 or 2 representatives to go on stage and present their ideas to solve the problem raised in the question.
Later on, the 4 examiners discussed among themselves and finally released the result deciding who can go on to the next round 1-v-1 interview.
On that day, 4 out of 9 interviewees were able to continue for the next round of interview.

The interview was unique and hands-on, allowing interviewees to have the chance to experience the store environment firsthand. It gave great insight into daily tasks, team dynamics, and customer interaction—an engaging and memorable process.
