      Recruiter Interview

      May 15, 2012
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uniqlo (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2012

      Interview

The interview consisted of a phone screen with a recruiter, 2 skype interviews and a face-to-face panel interview. I was provided with an idea of the compensation and information on the company. The skype interviews were with their New York team, the in-person interviews were with the San Francisco team. I really enjoyed the skype interviews and felt their HR team was very easy to speak with. There was a communication barrier with the San Francisco team. I think it was a cultural disconnect. They were not able to answer any of my questions I asked them, so I might recommend future candidates tailor their communication to change this. Prior to the in-person interview, I had received all feedback within 24 hours. After the in-person, I suspected I did not receive the job 1) Because the interview did not go well 2) I didn't hear back for almost two weeks. I might recommend to the interviewers to be more personable. At times during the in-person interview, I felt a little attacked and I also felt their might be a disconnect between the HR team and this team to what this person is going to do.
