Interview
I recently applied online to Uniqlo for one of their new stores opening fall 2013. The next day I received an email to join HR for an interview. The interview went well, they asked simple questions such as why do you want to work for Uniqlo, what can you contribute to our team, what is a customer to you, etc. Afterwards they had told me they would be in contact with me. A week later I received another email for a second interview. When my second interview date approached I was greeted by the same female from HR who interviewed me first time around. We walked into a back room where I was also greeted by two other members from HR. They were very friendly and polite, the interview was enjoyable. The questions asked included your availability (you must be able to close two days out of the week and complete open availability during the weekends), why should we hire you, tell us about yourself, etc. Though the questions seem simple make sure you think them through and get straight to the point. When my interview was over they spoke to me about a required drug screening the company provides for all potential hires and the drug screening had to be done within the next 48 hours. The next morning I completed my drug screening and several hours later I received an email informing me with a congratulations I'm offered the job and the date for my orientation. Also make sure to smile throughout your interview and keep a positive attitude !
