I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Ginza)
Interview
The process is normal, I applied through the internet and got the call a few days after. After I got the call I was told to come to the store, in Ginza, for the interview and Inhad to bring my japanese resume with me. The interview itself was really normal, I was intervied together with a chinese girl. Remember to be patient when the other person whose are interview stole your chance to answer the question, keep relax and no need to be angry, but you still have to answer the question clearly later. Keep on smiling and be sure to know about the company history and think about some of the reasons about why do you choose uniqlo and why that branch. Remember that your Japanese skill is the most important thing for the requirement.
After the initial application, there was one telephone interview followed by one in-person interview.
The telephone interview tested my motivation for joining the company and what I love about the brand. The final interview focussed more on experience and what skills would make me suitable for the role.
Some stores have an assessment centre as part of the application process but I have not sat one.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Feb 2026

Overall, the interview was interactive and centered around collaboration and how candidates approach customer service situations.

Question 1
Q: How would you handle a situation where a customer needs assistance, but you are in the middle of closing tasks?
We were also given a practical group task where we had to collaboratively fold T-shirts and organise them efficiently. This exercise seemed to assess teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
