I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uniqlo in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online from an employment website where I sent in my resume and cover letter. Two weeks later I received a phone call from Uniqlo asking me to come in for an interview with a manager. I had to bring in my resume and proof of my citizenship. The next day I went in for an interview with the manager which was one on one. The manager said it would be a short 15 minute interview where he asked me 5 or 6 basic questions which ranged from my experience in customer service to what my hobbies are. They were pretty simple and it was a rather relaxing interview. I was told I would get a call within the week to confirm whether I receive an offer or not. The next day I got a call from a manager to come into the store and hand in a photocopy of my citizenship documents. The day after, I received an email congratulating me on receiving a offer for a job.

Very simple interview, they focused on the family like culture they had at the store so they were looking for someone capable of doing the job skillfully but also outgoing.
Went in for a group interview with around 20 other people and watched a video about Uniqlo. Did some team discussions and had to present in front of the room. In the end, we had to fill in a sheet about ourselves and we were done.
