      Full Time Sales Associate Interview

      Sep 28, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Melbourne
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Melbourne)

      Interview

Had my interview with the store manager, it was over within 5 minutes, I was also a referral. The interview is a getting to know you process and a chance for the employer to see what you're capable of. A good indicator to know if you're doing well is if the employer asks if you're open to learning alternations, this shows that they are willing to invest in you. The real test is the probation period, in which you must be on your best behaviour, to be offered a permanent full time role with the company.

      Interview

The absolute worst experience I have had with a company. Interviewed, was successful and was then offered a position at a store 2 hours from my store of choice due to being misheard. Made contact with Nazrin from recruitment countless times and was promised an amended offer on multiple occasions. I was eventually passed on to HR, who never responded to any of my emails. This was a gross waste of time that essentially strung me along due to disingenuous and unsubstantiated claims on UNIQLO’s end.

      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Uniqlo (Melbourne) in Nov 2013

      Interview

Received an email for interview and there were three time slots that we can chose. We were given a name tag and there were 6-7 per group, in total of 6 groups. The session started with a friendly and bright introduction of the staffs, then began with a video clip that tells us about Uniqlo's culture. We were to take notes during the video and were asked to discuss the main points in a group and one person will do a short presentation. There were 2 trainee managers observing each table. Then we waited for the individual interview that was about 15 minutes, two interviewers asked about why do you want to work for Uniqlo? What is your goal? Describe one time where the customers are really happy..The whole recruitment process took around 2hours . And then we were asked to wait for the email .
