They arranged 2 group interview dates, 1 week apart from each other. We were approximately 50 candidates/interview. We first had coffee and pastries, then an introduction held by hiring Managers and HR explaining how Uniqlo works and sharing their wonderful experiences with us. Then, we were split in smaller groups (7-8 people) and assigned to one of the Uniqlo hiring managers. We were asked general questions, individual questions, and finally we had a team activity where we had to solve a case. Overall, the group interview went well and I left with a positive impression about Uniqlo as a work place. 1 week later I was made an offer and was told that the contract will arrive shortly. However, after another 1 week, I was informed that they have some internal issues and need to pause the hiring process, but they will update us as soon as possible. After that, for a month they were evasive and kept claiming that they have not taken a final decision yet. Finally, after 5 weeks from the point when I was made an offer, they told me they will not proceed with my application. I think the whole delay was very unnecessary and unprofessional and I do not recommend them as employers.
