After first and second interview in their respective home countries, selected candidates were flown to Japan for the final round interview. This consisted of days of presentations covering basically the same stuff (feels like brainwashing sessions to some of us), 2.5 days of store experience, personality and maths tests, group discussions, and one/two final interview(s).
Uniqlo spent loads of money on flying candidates to Tokyo for the final interview, but it's just not worth it. They treat candidates with total disrespect and drain everyone out throughout the process, while trying to brainwash people, even though they claim to be looking for active, global people who can promote changes. It's just a lie: they are looking for people who they can brainwash, who can sacrifice their life for the company. All candidates agreed that apart from the opportunity of living in Tokyo and learning Japanese, nothing good can come out of this job.
