The interview process included a team call of a company presentation, and a numerical test. After that, I was invited to the group assessment centre, which involved two situational exercises, then some of us were asked to stay to complete a group interview.
While I loved meeting all of the people I was interviewing with, it was extremely disorganised, and there was a lack of communication from the managers.
After the situational exercises, some people were asked to stay while others were let go early, but this was not communicated clearly to them, and it made for some awkward moments. I didn't think this was kind to them at all, and it could have been handled a lot better.
The rest of us were then left to wait for over 40 minutes with no communication on what we were waiting for. When it was our turn for the interview, it was rushed and we only got around 10 minutes due to the previous group running over. I felt that this was unfair, and the person interviewing us seemed disinterested and wasn't making any eye contact.
After this, it took over a week for them to get back on the results of the interview.
Overall, I think they are demanding a lot more time and effort at the interview stage compared to other similar retail jobs and there is a clear disregard for candidates and their time.
