I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Uniqlo in Jan 2016
Interview
No respect for candidates, most decisions are made at the 3rd round but they just lead you on to the final round to ensure it is a 'fair' recruiting process.
Long process (can take up to four months for the whole process, as the recruiters typically take a long time to reply)
No transparency in the process.
Interviewers were not friendly, put up a face.
Job is overrated, they expect you to work like you never before, suggest you reaearch beyond the job description and ask them what are the realistic expectations . The european management is still dominated by Japanese.
Aims to be no. 1 in the world for mid fashion retail but lacks the vision and tenacity to do so, but try to portray a dynamic workplace where ideas are heard (but never act upon)
Dont waste your time! If theres any red flags, just terminate the process, dont let them lead you on.
Interview process was firstly Screening test --> then it was HR group interview --> progress to Interview w/ store managers + an HR manager --> In-store trial (half day) if you make it through all the above.
Overall positive. The pre-screen was easy. The assessment was very challenging but the online interview was very easy cuz you’ll be interviewing with ai and it only took like 1-2 minutes with a very general question

Question 1
What do you think is the challenging part of UMC role
Interviewees go in 2 at a time. Interviewers were friendly and took turns asking questions. Sometimes they asked the same question to both interviewees. They spent some time after the interview to explain the career progression process and answer questions.
