I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Unishippers
Interview
During covid (when a lot of people are struggling to find a job) it is really unprofessional when recruiters aggressively reach out to you and then give you no updates. A recruiter reached out to me and set up an interview. The interview was an hour long over the phone. The interviewer kept emphasizing that he was looking for someone “young” over and over again.... might want to talk to HR about that. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times for feedback/an update. I either got “I will get back to you” or nothing. The recruiter never got back to me.
It’s the unprofessional recruiter and ageism for me.

Interview
Very hands on interview process. 3 out of 4 parts of the interview require you to be in person. They want to see that you are outgoing and will go the extra mile to get the job.
Intro call with hr basic get to know you questions, 2nd call with sales manager, 3rd call with owner and had pitch something and try to sell them. It was a normal sales job interview process.
Long interview process, multiple rounds focused on background, current role, and how you’d add value. Conversational but thorough. Expect repetition across interviews and consistent questions on experience and whether or not you're a fit.
