I applied online. I interviewed at Unishippers in Dec 2023
Interview
Very weird interview. Seemed to care only about my time as an athlete opposed to my sales experience. After I answered the questions the recruiter told me nothing about the position and abruptly ended the call and said she’d keep in touch. At least she had the courtesy to email me a few days later and told me they selected other candidates for the role. It seems they want recent college graduates who are all American D1 athletes

Question 1
What sports did you play? Why do you want to get into sales?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Unishippers (Rutherford, NJ) in Jun 2026
Interview
Very hands on interview process. 3 out of 4 parts of the interview require you to be in person. They want to see that you are outgoing and will go the extra mile to get the job.
Intro call with hr basic get to know you questions, 2nd call with sales manager, 3rd call with owner and had pitch something and try to sell them. It was a normal sales job interview process.
Long interview process, multiple rounds focused on background, current role, and how you’d add value. Conversational but thorough. Expect repetition across interviews and consistent questions on experience and whether or not you're a fit.
