Flew to New Jersey, stayed overnight in the ghetto. Next morning, waited with a group of about 25 to be escorted to the United wing of the airport. Watched power point presentation describing the company and the job. They hand picked each one of us out of the room to do one-on-one interviews until there was only one person sitting in the room by themselves, which was probably a good three or four hours later. After the one-on-one, they lead you to the end of the hallway, where employees have lunch. You sit there and wait for your interviewer to come back after she says "Well, let me see if there's any other information I need from you." This is the make or break moment, she will come back saying, "Okay, there's nothing else we need from you. Just go down those stairs and you can take the shuttle back and get on the next flight." Or she will have you walk back with her to the room where you will wait more hours to be seen by the manager of service and probably another guy who has been a flight attendant for 30 years. During this time, you will not get a lunch break (we did not). Good luck!

5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
