Sorry but United was probably the worst interview I've ever been through. I wasted over $275 on a hotel room only to be told that they weren't hiring for the rest of the year. Interview process was bizarre with ridiculous intimidation tactics used throughout. Showed up at SFO for the interview and they gave a presentation on what its like to be an F/A for United. Good info and interesting. There were several already employed F/A's running the interviews and next they gave us the low-down on what was happening with their hiring. We were all informed that at the moment UAL was not hiring but if we would have been there 2 weeks prior we more than likely would have been offered positions. Uh, thanks for that but why the heck am I even there here and what a waste of $275.00 !! They took us back one at a time for a one on one and was asked several of the already posted questions. After that we sat down with a recruiter who spelled out what to expect pay wise, base locations ect..
Quite frankly both the recruiters and the initial interviewer showed little to no interest at all, (probably because they weren't hiring), and were almost dismissive in their demeanor. During the waiting game for the private interview several of us heard one of the male interviewers making fun of one of the female applicants as her dad was a Pilot already employed by United. Really unprofessional. I was in the middle of the pack and after the strange interview was over, headed back to the airport to fly home. Several of us hooked-up at the airport to compare notes, (even the poor girl who's dad was a Pilot), and none of us were impressed. Informed the Pilots daughter about what we heard and hopefully she'll make a complaint with the dolts who hired the unprofessional interviewers. Got the rejection letter several days later, (No surprise), and quite frankly wouldn't have taken the job even if it was offered. Thought this was a world class airline but I can honestly tell you if they run their airline the same way they run their interviews they won't be around for very long

5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

I passed the process until the virtual interview where I received the tbnt 2 days later I wish they could give us some tips about the things we should improve or reasons for not being chosen, I would love to improve myself on whatever the reason for not passing but overall a really good interview

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
