I applied online on 8/18/16. On the 23rd I received an email thanking me for my application and letting me know if they were interested, they'll send an invitation for a video interview. Received the invitation on the 25th and did the video interview on the very last day I was able to which was the 30th. When I tell you I completely bombed that interview, it was bad! To give myself credit, it was mostly the first question. The whole concept of a video interview made me very nervous but once I got use to it, I did ok. I did dress up, wore and blazer, red lipstick, and smiled a lot. I think that's what saved me. There was 5 questions, asking mostly about customer service and how'd you represent United. I read a lot on glass door and seen most people being contacted after 4-5 days after doing their video interview inviting them for a f2f interview. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE with me. I lost all hope but bam! There the email was this morning 9/14/16 inviting me for a f2f interview. I'm so happy I got another chance and I'm looking forward to totally nailing this interview and becoming a flight attendant. I'll update once I completed the f2f interview.
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

I passed the process until the virtual interview where I received the tbnt 2 days later I wish they could give us some tips about the things we should improve or reasons for not being chosen, I would love to improve myself on whatever the reason for not passing but overall a really good interview

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
