I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Sep 2016
Interview
The interview process has moved along fairly quickly. Especially when compared to Delta and Virgin America. I applied online and received an invitation to do the video interview within 2 business days. Once I submitted the video interview it was about 7 days before I was invited to the group interview, which is really a f2f. I scheduled that for about 2 and a half weeks out.
I've read here and in other places that they're observing the group as we are waiting for our interviewer to call us back, but I'm not so sure this is accurate. I did not get the feeling that we were being watched. Anyway, my interviewer was kind and very pleasant. I did not feel nervous at all. I was introduced to another 2 interviewers who let me know that they would be sending me an email informing me of their decision within a week. I felt great about the interview but I honestly could not gauge what the outcome will be. I had a 3 hour flight to get to the center and had to arrive the night before which meant booking and pyig for my own hotel. All told, I was away from home for exactly 25 hours. Was kind of a whirlwind experience.
I should be hearing back in about 5 days.
Thanks for reading. Good luck to you!
