Okay so from the very beginning, I started the process like everyone else on here. I applied online and got an invite to do the video interview. The questions have been posted multiple times on here so I won't repost them. Just make sure you practice your answers and do the practice questions they give you until you feel comfortable. Dress appropriately and smile! It's imperative. Two days later, I got the invite to do the face to face interview and scheduled it for the week after. They give you plenty of days to choose from. They also fly you out the day before so be prepared to pay for your own hotel. The directions they give you on where to wait the next morning are very clear and I didn't have any trouble finding the waiting spot. You are NOT being watched while you are waiting despite what all of the other reviews on here say. I talked and made friends with the other applicants while we waited because everyone was so nice, not because I thought I was being watched! It helps get the jitters out so I definitely recommend making friends. They meet everyone at 9 and escort you to a building outside of the terminal. When you arrive, you check in to the front desk and are escorted to a classroom to watch the standard introductory video and answer any questions. Try to ask a question or two but don't worry if they don't have time, you'll be able to ask questions in your interview later. Also, smile LOTS during this time because you are meeting with everyone of the inflight services recruiting team. After the video, they call people about 5-7 at a time to go into a separate office and interview with someone from inflight recruiting services one on one in a cubicle. They go through your resume and ask you about your previous jobs, pretty standard stuff. I'll post the questions I remember down below. Now here's the interesting part!! I read the reviews on here that say if you don't get a second interview, you don't get the job. I'm here to tell you that is 100% TRUE!! After my one on one interview, I was escorted into another office with a few other people. Out of our initial group of 25+ people, only 5 of us were selected to wait for the second interview. After more waiting, you are brought into a small room with the director and hiring manager who go over your resume further. They ask you if you're able to comply to the no tattoo policy and ask you why you would be a good flight attendant. It was all pretty quick though and then they offered me a spot in the training class starting in January. I heard that if you aren't selected, after your first interview they tell you you'll find out a decision through email. All in all it was a great experience. Everyone is nice and easy to talk to so I wasn't nervous at all. Just answer their questions truthfully. It's easy to talk about something that has really happened instead of making up something on the spot. I also want to say that you shouldn't be discouraged by any of the other candidates!! I was offered a position over another candidate the same day who had years of prior FA experience and several other candidates who had college degrees so anything is possible! Just be yourself, they are looking for people who would truly be a good fit for the job and definitely LOOK THE PART. If you don't have people coming up to you in the airport asking you for directions because the think you're a FA, you're probably not dressed appropriately.
