I applied twice online and shortly received an email saying I have a video interview with them. you have 3 days to complete the interview. I did it on the last day. It helps if you practice in the mirror first. You will also get to introduce yourself in one video. the first time I applied, they told me they finished hiring so I can still reapply anytime and when hiring was open I grabbed it, did a new video interview same questions just this july 2018 and 4 days after I got an invitation for the face to face interview and that's where I am today.

Tell us about United and how would you represent the brand?
On-demand virtual interview, 1:1 virtual interview, F2F interview day w/ group activities. Nothing was tricky, but it took about 1.5 months in total. There is also a language exam for those applying to a speaker position.

Why do you want to be a flight attendant for united?
Pre recorded interview you get 2 minutes to prepare and it is a total of 8 questions. It gives you about 2 minutes to answer the questions as well and it’s important to use the STAR method.

Customer service, passport, training and flexibility
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.
