Interview
The day started off early. There’s a presentation then they pull you off into a room where you wait. There was a weird laptop that was open with a red record light on. I’m assuming they were recording our interactions with other candidates. Then you are brought into a room for a separate interview. Some of us were brought into another room for interviews by that did not mean you made the cut! After they introduced us to a manager for Denver then escorted us to the shuttle.

How would you handle a customer not turning off their device?
On-demand virtual interview, 1:1 virtual interview, F2F interview day w/ group activities. Nothing was tricky, but it took about 1.5 months in total. There is also a language exam for those applying to a speaker position.

Why do you want to be a flight attendant for united?
Pre recorded interview you get 2 minutes to prepare and it is a total of 8 questions. It gives you about 2 minutes to answer the questions as well and it’s important to use the STAR method.

Customer service, passport, training and flexibility
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.
