I don’t know why people waste their time on Glassdoor, they don’t care if you’re genuine, social, or well dressed, the recruiters are awesome but the director is going to pick who she wants, it DOES NOT MATTER. I saw people with dark purple lipstick who weren’t social WHATSOEVER get hired, I saw the greatest people get let go, I made it to the second round, the director came to grab me (I was the only one she came to grab, ok?) that was a bit odd. The stuck up people who were quite (maybe nervous) did not talk to anyone and got selected. I have 5 years of hospitality customer service on the Las Vegas strip in the biggest venues, and I was also a part of the police, also 5 star dining restaurant in Santa Monica. But they don’t care about any of that, it will all come down to how she/he feels that day, and who she wants or doesn’t want. I will never go back to United, they are terrible. And I love all my recent employers or people I’ve interviewed for, they were all great. But the hiring manager had the fakest smile the whole time, like have a normal smile and be genuine we can read facial expressions sir lol. Doesn’t matter what answers you give either, I gave all the best answers because 7 of my friends are flight attendants. Don’t waste your time, just go there and treat it like any other interview, it’s honestly not in your hands. I’ve heard millions of negative reviews about management and I finally saw it for myself. Don’t get me wrong there are fantastic people at United and it is the best airline to work for!!!! Scott was a great person, very real and genuine, but like I said, she’s gonna choose people out of her own motives.
