The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Long Beach, MS)
Interview
I applied to the hiring event in ORD
application date- 03/20/19
Invite to schedule F2F-04/16/19
Called to schedule and got date for 05/05
I was flown to Chicago the day before my interview. My interview started at 8am and I arrived at 7:30am
provided my ID to front desk. I sat with the other candidates, at 8 they called us in to provide our resumes and get refreshments if we chose to.
Bring only what they ask for and nothing else!
Passport and ID ONLY!!
We were placed in a room where a recruiter made a presentation about United, reserve life, pay, etc
Then they called us out 1 by 1 to meet with a recruiter. We had three rounds. The third round we met with a recruiter and HR. Some people only made it to 1, some 2 and some all 3 rounds.
If you made it to third round, chances are you got the job.
They tell you 3-7 business days for a response.
I got CJO Email on the 05/08
We are currently in a holding pattern And sometime this month I received an email asking to send copy of my passport.
MY ADVICE :
1.I know you hear this all the time but it’s very important to BE YOURSELF
2. They say ask questions but If you don’t have questions, honestly that’s ok! I did not ask not one question. Don’t ask stupid questions because you feel as if you have to ask questions
3. Smile and do not sound fake or rehearsed. Be prepared, do your research, I found all the questions on Glassdoor.
4. Look and dress the part, stay off your phone, be friendly and sociable. follow instructions and be honest!
Recruiters are looking for someone they are going to enjoy working with! Read and learn about the company.
Sell yourself and let them know why they need to hire you. Good luck!!
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
