I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Jun 2019
Interview
Video interview in March 2019. F2F interview in June 2019. I rescheduled my interview and they accommodated me for end of June. I studied all the questions posted on here and the main ones asked were the one I listed. Especially the "passenger and laptop scenario". I wore a dark pantsuit, hair in a top bun with hot pink lipstick. My interview class was small only about 8 people. The interviewers who were senior flight attendants were very nice and friendly. I was super nervous but they warmed us up and made us feel comfortable. Definitely mingle and chat while waiting they are watching. I had one F2F with one of the instructors then a long wait and we each were called back one by one. The second part of the interview I was with all 3 of the FA and they asked me a few more questions then was offered the job on the spot. Training classes had just ended for the summer so they invited me to start training in the fall. Reading all the reviews made me so anxious and nervous but honestly the friendliness of the older FA took all the pressure off. Not nearly as intense as you think or ppl make it seem to be. As long as your friendly, dressed correctly and attractive you should be able to ace the interview with no problem. I did not get drug tested either.
