I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Dec 2014
Interview
The interview process was great, there were about 40 people there, we had to be there at 8, (I suggest you get there early). Then they started with an overview of the job, then you go and drop your resume off at the desk in the back of the room. After the video & overview of everything, they tell you some of you will get a card to come back after lunch, YOU WANT THAT CARD. They will call you in for an interview, and when they do, lay it out for them at every question. They want to know you're a people person, what you can contribute to the company, etc.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
