I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied for the flight attendant position on 03 MAR 2016. I received an e-mail a day later asking me to complete a HireVue interview. The interview is essentially pre-recorded questions being asked and you recording yourself answering them on a webcam. I have done a few of these for Delta ramp services positions and I am still not completely comfortable talking to myself, better yet recording myself. The interview allows you to do practice questions which helps get you comfortable for the actual interview so I highly advise you utilize them. When you do the actual HireVue interview you have approximately 30 seconds after read the question to come up with an answer then it starts recording. Keep eye-contact on your webcam, do not ramble on too much yet be thorough, smile, and you'll do fine. They will ask you five questions and so far the questions seem pretty standard for everyone. After I completed the HireVue (I completed it 07 MAR 2016 @ approx. 7:30pm) I received an e-mail almost exactly 24 hours later asking me to attending a group interview in Houston on 10 MAR 2016. Wish me luck! I'm hoping for the best however some of my other coworkers that have interviewed for the United Flight Attendant position haven't passed the face-to-face one so my nerves are at an all time high.

Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
