I received an email two weeks after applying stating that I was pre-selected and that I would have had to take a written test a few days later, less than a week. The test consisted of two questions, one in English and the other one in the language spoken in the unit on my understanding of nature-based solutions and the role of UNEP. It was 1-hour test, not difficult. Two days later I received another email stating that I passed the test and inviting me for an interview the week after. I was interviewed by 4 people, one of them I guess was there just to observe and take notes, and the whole process took less than one hour. I did not feel stressed or pressured, there was a good atmosphere. The questions were normal, nothing crazy. I got asked a couple of questions related to my test and past experience (I would suggest reading your test before the interview and your CV), my interest and experience in the region, and related to climate adaptation. Questions were both in English and regional language.
