I applied through college or university. I interviewed at United Way (Athens, TN)
Interview
It was very simple and welcoming, which made the process a lot more comfortable. The interviewer wanted to know what kind of person I was and get to know me.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at United Way (Amarillo, TX) in Jul 2012
Interview
I saw a classified ad in the newspaper, and emailed about it. Got a reply, and interview was arranged over email. I was one of about 80 applicants, and I interviewed once, and was called in for a second interview. When I had my second interview, they offered me the job and I accepted. Didn't have to deal with a complicated HR department so that was nice. Easy process overall.
About a week after submitting my application online, I was called by an HR rep at the company to schedule an interview. My interview was scheduled for one week later, and was a panel of three people in the department I was applying to. The interview was short, and they didn't ask anything unexpected.
