Interview
I applied online and got a email within 2 hours for an initial phone screening. The initial phone screening asked questions about my resume and a few basic scenario questions ( what would I do in this situation). My interview went well. The recruiter even mentioned my answers were perfect at times. She told me that my information would go to the hiring manager and I would be contacted within 5-7 days for another interview. On te 7th day, i received a email saying I was not selected. I'm really confused about the entire ordeal. Oh well!! Life must go on!!!

Can you tell me about the job you are currently employed with?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group in May 2019
Interview
I was contacted on a Wednesday via email in reference to an application I had submitted online. The recruiter asked to schedule a phone interview. I was very pleased to be considered for the position and replied with a series of times that I would be available to participate. The interview was scheduled for the following Friday at 12pm. I currently work at another 9am-5pm job so I made sure to take an early lunch in order to be prepared for the interview. I waited by the phone through my entire lunch break for the call that never came. I sent the recruiter an email later Friday afternoon explaining that I never received the phone call. I hadn't received any further correspondence from the recruiter by Tuesday evening so I gave the support line a call to resolve the issue. I was told that my application was still active and that the recruiter would be sent a message to follow up with me. Again, I received no further messages from the recruiter by Thursday so I called again. I was told another message would be sent to the recruiter and that she would follow up. Approximately 15 minutes after my phone conversation with support I was notified via email by the recruiter that I was no longer being considered for the position. I found this process to be one of the utmost unprofessional and disappointing experiences I have had with any recruiter. I wanted to let other hopeful applicants know in the event that they receive an interview time that it may or may not actually happen.
