Internship Experience:- United Health Group (U.H.G.) General Aptitude Technical Aptitude 2 Technical Interviews H.R. Round **Don’t write anything in your resume which you don’t know. Try to avoid even those which you don’t know completely or which you didn’t practiced. *Check the code you write to confirm that it is completely correct. As they checked each & every line for every code. And you have to explain how the code worked line by line checking the status of each variable at each step. General Aptitude - It had 30 questions (45 min) which were more than just average. It’s not just the speed that matters. The thing that matters more is accuracy because there is minus marking also. Technical Aptitude – It had 3 questions (30 min) for which we had to code on paper (any language). The questions were not so tough. But it just needs some practice and familiarity. If you think you can’t write the code completely, write the pseudo code ( algo. or the idea that how will you approach). Try to attempt all questions in this round. This technical aptitude answer sheet may be referred again during the Technical Interviews. 1st Technical Round – First of all they referred to the resume and accordingly they asked questions. After seeing my resume he said that “Apart from academics and K.V.P.Y., I see only this programming thing which you have done.” Because in my resume their was neither any project nor any work experience, their was only my rank of programming contests and some achievements. So he asked me to tell about what I have done related to Codechef and asked me to explain about a recent interesting problem I solved. Then he took out the technical aptitude answer sheet and checked the code which I wrote. After that he asked me some questions related to DBMS (which we were not taught), I told him that we just started studying DBMS this semester. So he sticked mainly to the basic but asked the complete designing of DBMS (how it works) and asked to create/design a database for Doctors of Raipur (and complete controlling of that database according to the patients and other conditions). Now he asked what other subjects we have studied. I said ‘Data Structures’, ‘C’ & ‘OOPs’. He asked some general questions related to C & OOPs. Then asked to tell me what is heap & write a code for building a heap and code for inserting a new element in the heap. And at last he talked a little and then asked me to wait outside. 2nd Technical Round – A new interviewer. He again asked to explain a recent question solved. After I explained him, he said this is nice but I am giving you a problem write a code for that. The problem: He made an odd order square matrix and traversed the matrix and print elements in a different way (not the normal traversing which is done row by row) which was a bit complex (not even spiral which is a general question). And gave me about 5 min to write the code. And then checked that. After that he asked questions related to DBMS. As I said we just started DBMS, he said you have been taught about queries, so write a query for me. He designed a database which had about 5-6 tables and each table had relation with each other. He asked a quite complex query to write and gave me 2 min to write it (I don’t remember the exact query). H.R. Round – Describe yourself other than your resume. What you want to achieve when you come there. Why you want to join UHG. Why did you choose Raipur. Why Information Technology. What do you expect from the company . And asked if there is anything that you want to ask. The 2 technical rounds took about 30-40 min each. And the H.R. round of about 5-10 min. This is what exactly happened there(Almost 😅).
