I've applied here for a few entry-level IT jobs. Every time, I got an automatic reply inviting me to do a video interview. There is no interaction between the recruiter involved; you simply answer 5 broad questions that pop up on your screen as they record you. One time, I was invited for an interview but the process wasn't set up correctly, and it was rather difficult to find a live person to fix the issue.
The fact that no human being will speak to you should be a massive red flag to potential applicants. There is no way for you to ask the interviewer any questions about the company - or anything, for that matter. I feel that this impersonal type of interview brings nothing to the table except for the facilitation of a medium in which the interviewer may discriminate applicants based on age, race, or gender. The questions asked are very generic; they simply want video of you.
