Interview
I received a call from a recruitment firm regarding the Data Scientist job openings at Optum (UHG). That person asked few basic questions about the previous work, expectations and all.
Afterwards, I was called for a drive at Gurgaon.
I had 4 rounds of interviews.
1. Two interviewers: Asking questions on different ML approaches, evaluation metrics, some what if scenarios in the real time data science problems. They were really nice and it felt like a good discussion. In this round I was asked around 20 questions.
2. Again 2 interviewers, this time 2 senior people. Description on previous work. Scenario based question. They asked about the Machine Learning algorithm that I can explain from end to end with few equations too. It was a nice experience.
3 Third round was with a Director, Data Science. It was less technical and more managerial round.
4. HR discussion
