I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Princeton, NJ) in Aug 2019
Interview
Discriminatory, Big Brother, One way street communication from United Health Group. I applied online. On a positive note, UHG responded online within 2 weeks that they were interested. However, the next step is a recorded interview. 1) They have all your history 2) They have a recording of you answering unlimited/unknown questions that can be passed around/emailed to unlimited strangers to review and judge before you have any chance to speak someone. They state that the video recording will be viewed by unlimited amount of people so that they "Can see your face and how you respond!". However, we cannot see their face and how they respond in order to judge what their needs are and then respond. Not acceptable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
With no phone interview, I was required to allow them to record me answering an unknown amount of unknown questions so that UnitedHealth Group "Can see your face and how you respond!" and "Allow others at UHG to review your recording!" = Allow unlimited, unknown strangers to judge you as a candidate that has never done a 'one way' interview recording 1st before ? Are you kidding me? "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" Get real UHG! Start with a phone interview where the candidate can also ask questions and learn what your needs are, so that we can respond appropriately. People, unless and until we all say no, companies will make us follow them right off the cliff.
