I applied in December 2021 for this position. I first engaged with a member of the recruitment team on February 1st, 2021. The process took about 8 weeks from first engagement to offer presentation. I think this was longer than usual due to delays during the process, which was not a negative aspect at all. I worked with a recruiter named Triston and he was wonderful throughout the entire process. He communicated clearly and was accessible whenever I had questions about the process, role, company, and really anything at all related to the recruitment process. I met with several members of the design team and a product manager: -1st round was meeting the manager -2nd round was meeting the senior manager -3rd round was a group session with designers and both managers again for a portfolio review session and Q&A These first three rounds were focused on presenting content and answering questions relating to my experience as a designer. -4th and 5th meetings with a lead designer from a separate but related product team and a product manager of the product team I would be working with. These rounds were focused on values based scenario questions to better understand my thoughts and approaches to different scenarios surrounding team work, communication, alignment, etc. At every step the recruitment team ensured that my questions were answered and that I had the information to give me clarity about the purpose of each meeting and who I would be meeting beforehand. I felt very well cared for along the way, and while it took some time to go through the process, it felt handled with the utmost care, transparency and respect for my personal time.
