First received an email from hr (Stephanie) to attend a Test screening at UEI hq in Santa Ana the next week. Basic EE concepts of circuit analysis, bjt’s. Second step if you passed their test was interviewing with 4 EE managers/directors one on one for 45 mins each where two are situational, behavioral and asked questions about resume such as tell me about yourself, what makes you a good fit for this position/company, difficult situation/team member and how you resolved it, etc.
Last two interviewers mostly technical in EE fundamentals on whiteboard and conceptual questions from circuit analysis, testing & troubleshooting approaches of faulty devices, bjts, fets, micro controllers, identifying and analyzing pcb & circuit schematics, testing equipment and how they work and when to use them.
Positive experience here at UEI thought I did fairly decent l. although seems like heavy workload and somewhat of a stressful/demanding job due to demanding customers but chill overall.Company decided to move forward with someone else two days after the interview (I was the last of 4 candidates to be interviewed) and explained that due to a UEI employee referral pushed him as first choice apparently. HR (Mara) said she would try to open a second position so currently awaiting decision. Mara and Stephanie were very pleasant HRs.
