Universal Technical Institute interview questions

I had been through the interview process on and off for a year. I wanted to write this review to describe how belittling and rude the VP of admissions was at the time. I showed up for my interview on time and was told that my final step was to speak with the VP. Keep in mind I was lead along for a year at this point as being the next in line for a position. The VP showed up well over half an hour late for the interview. Continued to talk with some of the advisors in front of me without even acknowledging me. Eventually I was taken to a room where he eventually made his way over to follow up on our previous interview. He basically took five minutes to insult me implying I’m not a good fit because I don’t take risks and that I’m not competitive etc.. He had no knowledge of our previous conversation where he took the time to discuss his Disney cruise he took with his daughter and implied I was some sort of Disney fanatic. TLDR: He by far was the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of interviewing with. Knowing he is in charge of the admissions team makes me so happy my time being lead along was finally over and I could move on with my life where I found a job that respects me. This interview was 5 years ago so things could have changed but the interview lingers in my mind and I warn anyone who talks to me about this school to avoid them at all costs.

Had an initial screening with the internal recruiter. It went well and I was passed on to the hiring manager. The hiring manager interview was pretty much the usual situational questions that nearly every interviewer asked. I answered what I thought were pretty good answers. My feedback later was that I was overqualified and that I would get bored because apparently looking for process improvements isn't what they want.
