So a recruiter calls the candidate and ask them basic questions on why they want this job and ask for the experience. After that, the candidate gets sent to another recruiter and does a practice interview. The candidate gets feedback then fills out an application then gets another practice interview with another recruiter. I was not too happy with wasting my time with these practice interviews only to be told that my 'skill set' was no match apparently at the last minute. That should have been determined by reading the resume before making a phone call and setting up an interview. Hiring managers need to do better planning and stop wasting the candidates time when it comes to experience. If the hiring managers are looking for 'experienced' candidates with 5 years, then contact those people and stop wasting our time!
