I was sent a calendar invitation for a Teams meeting - I expected this to be camera on, due to not hearing otherwise. I joined and was told it was cameras off (okay, no problem). The recruiter asked me to give her a rundown of what I thought UpStream did. I reviewed the website quite thoroughly before attending the interview (duh) and she told me that I was looking at the wrong company website. I clarified that I actually clicked on the link in the email she sent me, but she refused to accept that. I then gave her a rundown of my past experiences and explained why I was now looking for a new opportunity. She clearly did not review my resume prior to this call, and she did not listen to my overview, because she continued to ask me questions that I had *just* explained. "...and why are you looking for a new role?" I just about hung up on the Teams meeting. I stuck it out, but you couldn't ask me to continue interviewing for this company, let alone work at it based on that 30-minute experience alone.
