I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Urban One (Washington, DC) in May 2013
Interview
The process was fairly simple.
I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes. I came in and it was two people. They asked what I knew about the stations, what my career goals were, what I wanted to accomplish at Radio One. They then gave me a history on the company, a tour of the offices, what the position entailed. They told me where they wanted to go in the future. It basically looked like they wanted to see my competence level.
It lasted about 20-30 minutes, and the process took about 2 months.
