The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Urban Outfitters (Austin, TX) in Jan 2012
Interview
Walked in and asked for an application. The manager said they were having an open group interview the next day, and that I should attend. I arrived the next day and sat in a circle with about 9 other people and 2 managers. They asked various questions about your favorite things involving pop culture and fashion. I would try to answer the question first. They picked 3 people at the end (however it can vary) and handed them a sheet of paper in which they were to take a personality test online. I passed and was called in for a second 1-1 interview. Was called 2 days later and had got the job.

I applied online. I interviewed at Urban Outfitters (Pasadena, CA)
Interview
The interview is done in a group of about 5-10 people. A manager asks a couple of behavioral questions, and everyone goes around answering. The vibes are pretty chill, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare! It just means you don't have to be nervous.
