I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Urban Outfitters (Newark, DE) in Aug 2017
Interview
Applied online, then had to do a video interview. For the video, there is no one actually on the other end of it, you are just recording yourself. You can take as much time as you need to prep, but once you start recording you can't do it over again. After that a manager called me for an in-person interview. Both the video and in-person were super easy and laid back. Mainly just questions about style and where I look to for fashion, as well as a view customer service related questions.
The interview process was great, mine was a group interview but I feel everyone had the chance to answer fairly. General retail questions were asked in addition to unique questions to understand your unique personality and how you'll contribute to the culture.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Urban Outfitters (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2024
Interview
Just asked questions about myself, what type of fashion I like, and past retail experience. Very laidback interview process with interview manager being very personable and easy to communicate with.
Personality based interview, was just asked personal questions about myself. It was a group interview with another girl and after we were both offered positions and went inside together to do some paperwork.
