Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and received a call within a day or two. The interviewer was really friendly and we had a casual chat about my experience and she talked me through the job role and why she liked my application. I was then invited for an interview a week later and told to bring a portfolio.
The interview was also very chilled and more of a chat than a formal interview. I talked her through my portfolio and she asked me why Urban Outfitters, what id change about the current display. What my strengths and weaknesses were. She then took me into the workshop and talked about what tools I could use. She then said that she would be in touch in the next week about the outcome and told me that the process if I was successful would be, going for a workshop examination, as so they could see I was competent in my carpentry skills and then a video interview with the regional manager.
I was not successful in this case. Although she said she loved my portfolio and my confidents during the interview. They had gone with an applicant with more carpentry experience but would be in touch if that fell through
