online interview with 2 members of the team followed by an in person trial day. I arrived and the HR heavily implied I already had the job and this was just for them to meet me and see if I actually liked the role. She said it was my decision and to let them know If I'd like to accept. I briefly met the 2 team members that interviewed me and then they left me on my own on a styling set, with no information, communication or support. I worked for the whole day, they didn't check in once to see how I was doing, how was it a trial day if no one was even checking to see how I was doing? It seemed like they honestly just needed a last minute freelancer to step in and disguised it as a job trial day. At the end of the day, I felt like I was bothering them by checking in to say bye. I asked what the next step was and they said I did great and to email HR to confirm the details. I emailed, followed up and never heard back.
