I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Usablenet (New York, NY) in Aug 2013
Interview
I recently had 2 interviews for a senior PM position at usablenet.
- One 30 min interview with the Director of Project Management
- One 45 min interview with 2 service lines directors
The first interview helped me understand what they were looking for, how the company is organized, and the same day I got a positive reply to go ahead with a second step.
The second interview was planned 3 days after, initially with one service line director and one sales lead, but ended being with 2 service lines directors.
Both interviews were nice with a clear presentation of the company and the expected profile.
There was supposed to be a third optional interview but it never happened. Despite very good feedback after both interviews, I was not selected. The reason given being that they changed their mind and promoted someone internally.

Question 1
Maybe I was too well prepared but I would say there were no difficult or unexpected question
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Usablenet in Sep 2011
Interview
Interview was disorganized. He arrived 10 minutes late apparently having been delayed on a phone call. But made no explanation or apology.
Did not have copy of my resume and when found one it was clear he had not read it.
Body language was that he wanted to be elsewhere. He turned his chair to face the door which meant he was looking at the side of my head and I had to twist uncomfortably to face him. He then watched everyone who went past until whoever he was waiting for finally came into the room and gave him some paperwork.
He could not describe what the job would actually entail. This was a senior PM role but he could not tell me where a senior PM fit into their organizational structure which is broken into silo or who I would report to. When asked a direct question about it the response was "depends".
Was not asked any questions that would allow me an opening to present myself as a candidate. Asked more questions about the company I worked for than about me. Interview was bascially over before it started.
