Interview

The interview was pretty tough, but I could tell that the ones conducting the interview were looking for a serious candidate. UCCU has a great corporate culture and they try to make sure that every employee that is hired fits in the corporate culture. They are also looking for people who are willing to stay on for long periods of time, because of things like training and bonding of employees. Overall a great experience.

Interview

I received a call to set up an interview for the next day. Came into the branch and was walked to a nice separate room. We began asking each other questions about the job, mentioned things that were expected such as attitude, dress code, being on time, hours of availablity, etc. When it was over we shook hands and I was called later that day for the job position.

Interview

The two service center supervisors welcomed me into a conference room where the interview was held. They were both very friendly. One of them told me he understood that this is an interview and could be a little nerve racking, but he told me there was nothing to worry about which helped me not feel intimidated.

I feel like the questions they asked were focused on getting to know me as a person. They asked me a lot of questions about myself and past experiences I'd had. They asked me to relate an experience when I was in a position of leadership and how I solved issues when they came up. My favorite question was, "What is something you hate?" It was a very unexpected question, but it gave me an opportunity to be 100% honest about something which they appreciated.
