      Success Coach (Inside Sales) Interview

      Jan 14, 2015

      Red Bank, NJ
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at V12 (Red Bank, NJ) in Dec 2014

      Interview

I got a call first. She sounded unprofessional over the phone but she said she was just hired about a month ago so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I was invited in for an on-site interview where I met with the person I spoke with on the phone and a "higher-up" in the company. They asked barely any questions. The "higher-up" tried selling me on the position throughout the entire conversation. She actually dropped the F bomb mid-conversation. She made it sound like they had no clear vision for what they wanted from the sales department. There didn't seem to be any clear vision or goals whatsoever besides the fact that they just wanted to obviously increase their customer base. When she was finally finished talking I didn't even bother asking questions because I was so thrown off by how strongly she came off making me feel like I already had the position. It was just a poorly conducted interview.
