1st interview was with a tech who asked some basic networking and linux questions. Passed that. 2nd interview was with a guy who stated I needed to be a Network Engineer and a Storage Engineer...even though the job listing only listed "familiarity with networking" as needed. He didn't show up for the first scheduled zoom interview. Super unprofessional. On the second scheduled one, he was petulant and dismissive as I wasn't a Network Engineer or a Linux Engineer even though my resume says neither of those things. He agreed that they need to edit the job description. Bottomline to me, as a Storage Engineer is that this is a company that doesn't have their act together yet. They're still in the start up phase, but once he explained what the job entailed, I was no longer interested nor was he in having me fill the position. How can you create great tech and yet suck sooooo much at hiring techs? Kinda blows my mind. Waste of time and the 2nd interviewer should have given some excuse why he didn't make the first interview. Very very unprofessional. They're trying to break into Media and Entertainment but in my opinion they're still at the "we don't know M&E" phase of startup. Good luck. Dell or some other entity will buy them and hopefully fix their hiring process...because I just hate wasting time interviewing for something I'm not qualified for.
