During my third interview with senior leadership, the team had clearly not prepared for the interview nor reviewed my credentials by asking me elementary questions such as "have you ever sourced a passive candidate" which my resume clearly reflects many years of sourcing strategy experience. One of the interviewers looked out the window while asking me questions and was clearly not engaged and the other members of the panel gave me the underlying impression he as difficult to work with while another left in the middle of the process to attend another meeting. This experience was one of the worst representations of senior leadership I've experienced. It took the director over a week to provide feedback that the team had selected another candidate, which is completely fine, but added an unnecessary message about how the team didn't connect with me. The feeling was mutual.
