I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at VIPKid (Savannah, GA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Simple and easy. Interviewer was patient. I completed a sample class teach with interviewer. The interviewer represented the student and did a great job acting and reacting as a student, making the teaching process more realistic. Interviewer gave excellent feedback on class demonstration and information regarding position.
Got hired as a British speaking then cancelled as not from America which I disclosed at the first interview which I think was silly and unprofessional at the time it was during covid when this happpened.
Very lenghthy interview process, but the interviewers were nice and helpful. There were several steps to the process and it was pretty involved. I had to prepare a lesson beforehand
It was easy an straightforward. 1 interview and 2 mock classes to pass. They offer a contract for a year with option to renew after 1st contract is over. Overall the process last for about 2 weeks from the time you apply unless you are waitlisted.
