I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VIPKid (London, ON) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process is rigorous - you will go through several levels of interviews before being accepted. This is because they have a high standard for their staff and the classes they provide. After they have reviewed your application, the process will begin. The first level is with a recruiter who is a Chinese person. They will ask you about yourself, watch you do a mock lesson, and set your base pay right off the bat. If you continue on, they will have you schedule a second interview (1hr long) with another native English speaker which will consist of an interview and a mock lesson (broken into two parts). In the middle they will give you feedback which you must implement in the second half of your lesson and again in the third part - a second mock lesson. The third interviewer is a highly experienced English teacher who has received feedback from the first two interviews and expects you to implement it throughout your lesson. This person will determine whether or not you are ready to start teaching.

Interview
Interview process was relatively fun and easy if you're comfortable doing part of a mock teaching lesson. They may do it differently now, but that's what I had to do when I interviewed.

Interview
The interview process was easy, the interviewer was pleasant and we shared a few laughs. Doing the demo lesson was easy, as the lesson contact is sent to you via email a few days before you interview - which gives you enough time to prepare.
