I applied online, there was no resume required. If you pass the requirements (Bachelors, teaching experience) you will be asked to do a mock class online. I had many time commitments in this week, so I did not schedule - but within a few days they invited me to participate in the "interview express" application process, where I was given lesson plans for two classes and recorded my own demo lessons as well as a small intro where I introduced myself and presented my training and experience. You do need to be well prepared for this, have your workspace set up as a classroom, and pay attention to the lighting. Luckly I have children and had most of the "props" for my classroom around the house. The ones I didn't have I made in Photoshop and printed out on cardstock. After this demo, I was invited to do a "mock" class with a senior teacher/mentor as the student. My mentor was very friendly and helpfu. I enjoyed the process even though it was a bit nerve wracking - it is basically an audition. The interview process is difficult, but fair. If you can't teach the mentor teacher, you won't be able to teach the kids either. (The kids are far more challenging!) After this point I was hired. If your mock was a bit shaky, you may be invited to do additional mock classes with a mentor, and/or training and testing.
