The initial interview with the recruiter seemed to go sideways when talking about my limited years of experience as a supervisor, so I didn't expect to get any kind of follow-up. Then, I surprisingly got scheduled for a follow-up and the call goes well with the hiring manager, if oddly casual, and so I think I'm into the final round. But of course, I'm then ghosted by the hiring manager despite a thank you note and a polite nudge from me within a week of said follow-up interview. I finally had to call the initial recruiter over a week later to get traction on the obvious final answer about my candidacy. Honestly, this whole process felt kind of like a joke; wouldn't waste my time applying to this company again.
